Dr Łukasz Oleksy at the 2026 Polish Canoe Federation Coaches and Instructors Conference

The Polish Canoe Federation Coaches and Instructors Conference will take place at COS OPO Szczyrk from 23 to 25 October 2026. The event is intended for coaches representing different canoeing disciplines. The programme will cover topics related to coaching, physiotherapy, strength and conditioning, sports psychology and athlete nutrition. Dr Łukasz Oleksy will be one of the conference speakers. His presentation will focus on preparation mistakes that can affect a canoeist’s health, as well as injury prevention and effective preparation for the competitive season. A properly planned preparation period allows the body to adapt gradually to training loads, supports athletic performance and helps reduce the risk of injuries. Participants will learn which mistakes should be avoided and which preventive measures can support athletes’ health and readiness throughout the season.
